Next month I will have an author speak to one 11th grade class for one period (noon-12:42). The visit is a freebie. What do you recommend that I do? Introduce her to the class (after having read her book), take her out to lunch? Any specific suggestions from those of you who have experience with author visits will be most appreciated.
