Has anyone read an of the books from the Kimani Tru series? According to
Harlequin's site they are: "Groundbreaking young-adult fiction, Kimani TRU focuses
on the triumphs and obstacles of today's African-American youth with wit and
realism. Join our heroines on their journey to independence." I'm wondering what
age they're for- are they too mature for 7th/8th graders? We can't keep the
Bluford High books on the shelves and if these are similar, I'd really like to get
them.
Thanks,
Genevieve
