I've gotten lots of requests for my BER schedule of seminars (What's New in Children's Lit. and How to Use It in Your Program, Grades K-6) from folks who want to know why it's not on my website. Yeah, I know--I'm WAY behind on everything these days, and haven't yet updated my calendar yet this fall. My apologies--I'm getting there. And then, when folks go to the BER website (www.BER.org), they get annoyed because they can't look up a speaker's schedule for the year. You can only look city by city to see who's going to be near you, and only for the next 6 months. Frustrating, I know. So for anyone who's interested to see if I'll be in your neighborhood, here's my calendar of BER seminars for the year. I hope I'll see you there. My first week out with my brand new program starts next week & I'm busy getting packed. Should be a good year--with some AMAZING new books. If I'm not coming to your neck of the woods, chances are Peggy Sharp will be. Or the wonderful Kathleen Baxter, who does Best Books of the Decade, and who I just saw give a fabulous workshop on Books for Boys at AASL Reno.
