Thanks to the many of you who made suggestions about submitting my review. I have several leads to follow now. A word about the book. . .It is very informative, you will want to add it to your professional collection. It is serious reading, for those who are well-informed as to current best practices in school libraries. As I mentioned to several people, it is something that a principal could take in small doses, but might not have time to read in its entirety. I am sure you will see favorable reviews of it in the professional literature soon, and perhaps you have already seen the book, if you went to AASL. (Violet Harada was on the program.) There is a favorable review of it linked from David Loertscher's website: http://www.seedwiki.com/wiki/lmc_reviews/2007b?wikiPageId=681984 TITLE: School Reform and the School Library Media Specialist, AUTHORS:Sandra Hughes-Hassell and Violet Harada PUBLISHER: Libraries Unlimited ISBN: 978-1-59158-427-8 Cheers!
