Dear all,

Today one of the language arts teachers (I work in an IB High School) approached me
to ask me if I knew a creative way of finding a cheap way of acquiring 25 copies of
these three books.

 * Solibo Magnificient by Patrick Chamoiseau ,
 * House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende and
 *   Decameron by Boccacio.

The English Department is out of significant amount of money to purchase these
books brand new, but I thought that this group is pretty creative to come up with
other solutions. We can trade some copies for 25 copies of The Handmaid's Tale by
Margaret Atwood (ppbk) There are brand new but they have our school's stamp. For
this reason we cannot return them.

Any thoughts? Contacts? If you think that they are some copies of any, some of all
of these titles sitting in your district just accumulating dust, please let me know
if we can work a deal :-) If you are not in charge of textbooks, but think I might
get a positive response of somebody in your district, please send me their
contacts. I would like to see this happen, even if it sounds little bit crazy.

Thanks!!
