My question concernd videos on the middle ages focused for high school. I had also asked about a series available from schlessinger (sp?) in particular a set with serf, noble, merchant etc. But they are listed as 4 - 8. The focus audience is 9th grade world history honors as well as regular. I did get some websites. However, the teacher has websites, he really wants some videos. We ordered several of the Schlessinger (sp?) titles and found a few History Channel titles. The replies My sixth grade teachers use the ones you are talking about and they love them. If that helps. I like the David Macaulay videos "Cathedral" and "Castle" as well as Terry Jones' "Crusades." I think they are all available from Follett or Library Video. 2) I don't know if this is the type of thing that you are looking for, but you might consider purchasing the video Cities of Light: The Rise and Fall of Islamic Spain. I recently watched this on PBS and thought that it was EXCELLENT. I have recomended it to our History Dept. for purchase.
