Mine is a middle school but these work anywhere.
The kids favorite thing in my library is our wall collages that surround the
reading area. We made them by cutting the butcher paper to the length of the wall.
We cut out pictures from magazines like upstart and book catalogs and pasted them
on the butcher paper before we hung it. It took millions of pictures. My TA's had
a ball doing it. I asked all the other schools to send me old catalogs. We
decorated 2 walls about 12 feet each, floor to ceiling even cutting out around a
window. I didn't laminate them and they are still up 6 years later. We do keep glue
sticking the edges. The kids, teachers and visitors to our school always comment on
the walls. And it was CHEAP!!
Another TA was a great printer. She made me a poster about 3 feet wide and 10 feet
long . I cannot put it up though because I can't come up with the source or author.

the words are exact. The student who wrote it was doing it from memory.
