Hello All,

Thank you to all who responded. I apologize for not replying to
everyone individually for their feedback (We're in our second day of
school so we're scrambling a bit).

Original Target:
I'm interested in some opinions. I have 8th grade girls who would like
me to subscribe to Lucky Magazine: The Magazine About Shopping! I have
seen a single issue and IMHO I thought that the ads and articles were
fine for our community. I seek the opinions of others because I had a
bit of a knee jerk reaction about subscribing to a magazine about
shopping. I subscribe to other magazines that are of interest to groups
of kids such as Electronic Gaming Monthly and Surfer's Journal and I
don't want to give my female students the idea that the things that
they're interested in are less important to me than the kinds of things
my boys are interested in. Any strong opinions for or against? Budget
isn't a huge issue.

Hit:
Response has been overwhelmingly positive (11 positive responses, 2
negative). I plan on initiating a subscription for my library.

Thank you!

dave
