No - do not use plastic bags. Plastic stores moisture. To be stored well for a long period of time, the books need to be kept in acid free containers. These are the same type of containers used in archives, such as the kind seen in this link: _http://www.archivalmethods.com/Product.cfm?categoryid=1&Productid=105_ (http://www.archivalmethods.com/Product.cfm?categoryid=1&Productid=105) You don't have to go to that site, I just wanted to show you what they looked like and how easy they are to store. I worked in an archives for almost a year, and also took an archives course. I'm wondering if we should get some sort of plastic bags to keep them in? They are of course, hard cover. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Michelle -- Michelle S.
