No - do not use plastic bags. Plastic stores moisture. To be stored  well for 
a long period of time, the books need to be kept in acid free  containers. 
These are the same type of containers used in archives, such as  the kind seen

You don't have to go to that site, I just wanted to show you what they  
looked like and how easy they are to store. I worked in an archives for almost  a 
year, and also took an archives course.

Subject: Protecting Old  Yearbooks

Hi all,

Someone has asked me how best to protect  yearbooks from the 1960s.  I'm
wondering if we should get some sort of  plastic bags to keep them in?  They
are of course, hard cover.   Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
