LM_NET Archive

Hello all,
I am trying to figure out four books that I can use for my adult
community book club this year. LM_NET was great at starting me out last
year with some possible books of interest; this year, I want to refine
my offerings. The books that were the biggest hit last year are those
that I would consider to be more popular in nature, but still
interesting to discuss (My Sister's Keeper by Picoult is the best
example of this). I very rarely read "adult" books and so I'm not
necessarily up on the type of books that would fit this bill. Fiction
or non-fiction, it doesn't really matter. I also like my choices to
have been out for at least a year so that it will be easy for the
readers to check them out at a local library, or even find them in
paperback, though I'm less strict on this requirement. Any suggestions?

Here's what I'm considering so far:
In an Instant: A Family's Journey of Love and Healing by Lee Woodruff and
Bob Woodruff
The Pact by Jodi Picoult
Wish You Well by David Baldacci
Finding Fish by Antwone Q. Fisher and Mim E. Rivas

Last year's titles:
Riding the Bus With My Sister by Rachel Simon
The Color of Water by James McBride
Miss Julia Speaks Her Mind by Ann B. Ross
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult

Thanks in advance! Will post a hit...
