One of my administrators came to me today looking for help finding the source of the following story/quote: A water tower is about to fall over, destroying the town. A one-armed welder climbs to the top of the tower and, miraculously, fixes the tower and saves the town. Once he is back on the ground he is asked how, if he only had one arm, was able to fix the tower. He responds, "When it's time to cut steel, you don't drop the torch." He believes the story is part of a book. I've searched in as many ways in as many places as I can think of, and I haven't come up with anything. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any and all leads greatly appreciated!
