>Can anyone share any poems that they particularly like (are fun or >funny) or that are library related?? My favorite answer: A KICK IN THE HEAD; AN EVERYDAY GUIDE TO POETIC FORMS by Paul B. Janeczko. (Sorry I don't know who sent it.) ******************************************************************* Try "Please Bury Me in the Library" by J. Patrick Lewis Gulliver Books/Harcourt, Inc. ISBN 0152163875 It contains 15 short library and reading-related poems. Tori Moray Montecito Union Elementary School Santa Barbara, CA ************************************************************************************ Our fifth graders (who are currently all memorizing a poem in preparation for our Horace Mann Idol Poetry Recitation Contest) are enamored with any poems by Brod Bagert. (http://www.brodbagert.com). They are funny, irreverent and have a great rhythm and rhyme, so they are easy to memorize. We just reread The Buffalo in the Library from Giant Children, and it went over very well. MaryAnn Karre, LIbrarian Horace Mann ES Binghamton, New York J.
