Dear Great and Wonderous Members: I have to give a refresher How to Research lesson to the seniors on Thursday afternoon. They are writing Literary Analysis/Criticism papers. Every time I give the How-To lesson I change it. For example, is there any need to include anything from the Reader's Guide except to mention the book reviews? I have compiled a list of literary research web sites for them to use. We have access to EbscoHost and the Discovering Authors databases. I will of course cover the things to consider before using any information from the Internet. This time I think it might be helpful to include a practice search activity. Could you send me with example questions that required narrowing the topic, choosing the best terms, and considerable time to answer-- via the Internet. Literature questions--even Do you know this book?--would be good. Thanks in advance.
