I'm teaching students how to use various resources for research including Wikipedia (okay, you can now place me in the same category as Doug Johnson---first it's copyright, now it's Wikipedia ---just kidding). If other rebellious librarians have created a Wikipedia rubric and/or worksheets to use for evaluating the articles in Wikipedia, I'd love to see (and share). I will be putting together some basic guidelines for the use of Wikipedia (including a rubric) and we will review how easily the contents can be changed, but if others have worked ahead and have other suggestions, guidelines, handouts, etc., I'd love to see them. I will be posting this to our research wiki (which is incomplete at this time)---- I will share this with you (hopefully by this weekend). By that time, the wiki should contain information about evaluating websites, evaluating Wikipedia, using Google Power Tools, and (of course) how to use online databases. If you can share your ideas or resources about Wikipedia, I'd appreciate it.
