[LM_NET] GEN: purchasing ipods {Scanned}

I would like to purchase a few ipods to download audiobooks for checkout by 
students.  I am also considering a purchase for podcasting and checkout.  Have not 
personally used ipods or mp3 players (my son has an mp3 player, so I can transfer 
cd to audio file and sync,etc). Is anyone using ipods in this way for checkout to 
high school students and how fancy of an ipod do I need to get?  Will a shuffle 
work? I am assuming that it is more important to consider the amount of memory
