Hi, folks. I'm on the planning committee for a possible and much-wished-for new public library in my town. We're considering what kinds of features, services, and special areas might be included in our new library. I have some questions for you: What is the coolest feature in your town library, or in your favorite library? (a teen room, play areas, coffee bars, gardens, etc.) What is your favorite part of your town library (or favorite library)? Why? Is there a non-traditional service your town library (or favorite library) has? (Genealogy service, WiFi, DDR & Guitar Hero competitions, great senior programming...) Any advice for a town planning a new library? I'll compile a hit. Thank you, thank you, thank you! --Anne-Marie Anne-Marie Gordon agordon@livoniacsd.org Library Media Specialist National Board Certified Teacher Livonia Primary School, Livonia, NY Website: http://classrooms.livoniacsd.org/agordon Resources wiki: http://squareone.pbwiki.com -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
