I had some great luck with offering students a chance to win a certificate at our
spring bookfair--if they turned in a book review, their name would be entered into
a drawing for a chance to win a free book and their review would then be posted on
the new library website. I received 46 reviews, which I consider a GREAT
success--especially considering that the kids didn't have long to do them.

I made up a flier and described the review as a "mini commercial" for them to use
to "sell" a book they liked to their friends. Now it's time to post the reviews
and I am wanting to hear some opinions from the collective brain about how I'm
posting them.

For those of you who have posted student reviews, did you choose to edit them for
spelling or did you choose to post them as submitted? Why did you choose that
approach? My gut feeling is to include the reviews, exactly as written, in
quotation marks, with no corrections or edits. I've been including the students'
first names, last initial, the teachers' last names and grade (to help the students
& their parents identify their reviews, but to not give out too much info for
security reasons).

TIA
