[LM_NET] Author/story search

Hello, I had a teacher this morning ask me about the title and the
author  of a short story but I am drawing a blank. The author is a woman
and her work is fairly popular. The teacher remembers reading it in an
assigned anthology of short stories in college. It is set in England
during the summer and a pregnant artist and her husband have rented a
summer house and have female friend come and stay for a visit. The
opening of the story is the husband picking up the friend from the train
station. The husband may also be an artist.  She said the story is
famous for it's underlining sexual tension.  That is as much information
that the teacher could give me. Thanks for your help.
