This request came through my graduate school listserv. I thought someone out there in an older middle or high school might have something interesting to add. Please email Bob Hill directly. TIA When in China last week, I had a meeting with an internationally acclaimed ceramic artist who is doing a large installation of "school chairs and desks" for a major international tour of art work. I am assisting him in the project in a minor way. He asked what kind of things students write, draw, or carve on/into school desks. He would like exact quotes or actual electronic photographs/images. I would be happy to visit schools to photograph desk tops if invited to do so, or would be happy if people working in schools could send to me jpgs of school desk tops with graffitti and other writing. Nothing is "off limits" in terms of content found on desks. If anyone would like to assist, they can contact me at bobhill@uga.edu Thanks!
