[LM_NET] TECH: iPod woes

At home, we have iTunes and there is trouble afoot.  Is it vvista or
itunes that creates folders and gets rid of our playlists after every and
any update?

My husband almost fell off the chair this morning to open up itunes and
see it completely empty!  After some searching we got all the music back
in there, but our playlists are MIA!  They have got to be somewhere!  Any
thoughts?  Any advice?
