[LM_NET] Share: Not quite summer reading list

Thought I would share this with all as the summer reading list
discussion brought this to mind.  My library is to be gutted this summer
as part of our building's 20 year renovation.  I have a bank of windows
that cross my office and make me feel like I am in a fish bowl.  I have
put bulletin board paper behind the windows and permanent markers on the
shelf in front.  Several little strips of paper are taped to the windows
that say "My favorite book is..."  In less than two weeks the windows
were full of book titles.  Some could not resist adding more than one
book of course.  The windows have now become a great "reading list" as
students look to it for suggestions of what to read!  (At first some
were reluctant to write on the windows....until I reminded them the
windows would be gone in a few weeks and it didn't matter!)
