TARGET>Alliance Plus and moving to Destiny. Hi! I'm a student in a graduate program for Library Media Specialists. As part of my clinical work, I am working in a small county. There are three schools with a total of about 1200 students. The three librarians are very interested in making the move from Alliance Plus to Destiny as the cataloging system. There is not a union catalog and and OPAC is not even accessible from other computers in the buildings. I would like to hear from other small localities who have recently made this move. What were the problems or issues involved? What do you consider to be the greatest advantages? Thanks for your response. Information from other librarians who are using the system will help these ladies decide what to do.
