Arlington Central School District, a growing and respected district in
Dutchess County, is located in the beautiful Mid-Hudson Valley of New York
State, about 90 miles north of New York City and about 90 miles south of
Albany. (http://www.arlingtonschools.org)

We have an opening for a primary School Library Media Specialist (Grades
K-2).

Overlook Primary School is one of thirteen district schools, consisting of
nine elementary, three middle schools and one high school. It is presently
a sister school to a nearby intermediate school (3-5). The library is
automated (Follett Circ+) and all computers have Internet access.

Applicants must have solid computer skills as well as an ample understanding
of information literacy and a love of elementary literature. One aspect that
sets the Arlington Library Media Specialists apart is our strong commitment
to collaboration and communication. We are looking for an energetic and
dedicated library media specialist to add to our team.

An online application may be found on our website. Or, send a letter of
interest and a resume by May 9, 2008 to:
