Are any of you familiar with a DVD called US Constitution and Independence
Hall produced by PHAR Productions in Farmington, Michigan? I got
an email sales pitch with a description. No mention was made of
appropriate grade levels. The price is $129 plus $12.95 shipping which
sounds pricey to me.

Here is the description:


 The DVD which comes complete with a wall poster of the US Constitution
and Bill of Rights and also a replica of the Constitution.

The DVD is chaptered for quick access to key concepts.
Chapters include
Introduction
City of Philadelphia
History of Philadelphia
American Revolution
Plan for a new government
Great Compromise
Signing of the Constitution
Bill of Rights
Conclusion
Was filmed during August 2006 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Ethnic diversity to engage student attention. The narrator is an African
American.
The producer uses a variety of camera angles and graphics which appeals
to
students
Can also be used for Constitution Day, September 17th, as mandated by
law
Has an interactive glossary of terms
Contains a classroom activity that can be duplicated
An authentic replica of the original Constitution is also included
A large wall poster of the Constitution and Bill of Rights is included
Can also be sent in VHS format with the classroom activities on a disk
