Hello everyone!
I am putting the entire fiction collection in special locations!
We start school with the kids on Monday! I am so excited about this year.
I have the opportunity to rearrange my MS Library anyway I want. SO, I
have decided that I am going to arrange it by genre.
I have ordered additional bookshelves and am going to place all the
Fantasy books in the "Fantasy section" etc etc
The genres I have picked so far are:
Mystery
Fantasy
Historical Fiction
Realistic Fiction
Sci Fi
Adventure
Humor
All the books are tagged (thanks to the workaholic Librarian that just
retired). She did have about a hundred books not integrated with the
other books because she ran a special program called "Letter in Reading"
(Academic letter like the Athletic Letter). Those books will all be put in
their respective genres.
The teachers are very excited about this idea too!
