I began watching the Olympics opening ceremony on Friday evening and got 20 minutes
into it before being called out of the house to assist an elderly neighbor who had
fallen. I did not get back into my house until after 11 PM and therefore missed
virtually ALL of the opening ceremonies.
I do not have a Tivo or any other kind of digital TV recorder and am wondering if
any of my fellow LM_NETTERS happened to record the NBC special on Friday night
featuring the opening ceremony of the Olympics.
If you did record it and can send it to me on a DVD, I will be most happy to pay
postage, the cost of the DVD, etc. I am devastated to have missed the program, and
after seeing NBC run some of the highlights on this morning's "Today" show, I know
that I did indeed miss a spectacular show.
