Hi all, How do all of you manage this situation: when students are browsing, they often take books off the shelf, bring them to tables, and don't end up checking them out. Of course, that adds to the amount of shelving that I have to do. How do you manage this? Do you just deal with it and shelve the books later? Or do you have a system in place to make this a bit easier for you? I don't have a lot of time in the library other than class time, and no assistant, so I naturally want to keep my shelving time to a minimum to focus on other things.
