Thanks to everyone who answered my call for help in weeding our collection in preparation for our renovation. Now we are looking at how to pack up the collection store it and then unpack and reopen. Of course we are still in the planning stages. Has anyone used a professional packer library speciality vs. just professional packers? How about experiences using students to pack supervised by library staff? How were you able to convince administration to spend on professionals? Any professional journal articles that you used? I am putting together a portfolio of evidence to present to my principal and anything other advice you can offer would be appreciated. -- Viviane J.
