James Henri shared these with me ... http://bible.cc/acts/20-35.htm and http://url.ie/yqy in response to my query. It shows the quote I was wanting "translated" to in the many versions of the Bible that are now available. It explains why the words were slightly different but the intent was the same. I also discovered this report on my searches http://www.sharpbrains.com/blog/2007/03/21/tis-better-to-give-than-receive-oxytocin-and-dopamine/ which gives a scientific explanation of why we feel better if we give rather than receive.
