Hi all, My brain is kinda musty, so I'm going to you. In another life, my students and I made rice ornaments at Christmas. I think we weighed a gram of rice into a baggie, tied it with a pretty neat bow, and attached a tag with world hunger info on it. At the time that gram (if that's what it was) was the average amount of food per day impoverished people in the world consumed. It was a great visual - a very small amount of rice. Anyway, I can't find what this amount by weight would be in today's world - and I want to be accurate. Does anybody know? Kathye D.
