I have read burned. It was a different sort of book for me written in prose but
easy to read from page to page it flowed so easily, it was difficult for me to put
the book down. it is about a father who is verbally, physically and mentally
abusive.My question, I am a Librarian/Teacher in a middle school. I feel my library
is young with many of the books for the lower end of middle school. I want to add
books to make the library feel more like high school for the 8th graders. I want to
add books to encourage them to read on a high level. So I guess my question and I
need advice would it be appropriate to add burned to a middle school library?
