Dear wise LM_netters: Have any of you ever hosted a murder mystery party in your library? We are batting around the idea of doing this next year, and focusing on the murder of either a character in a book they read for English class, or a historical character that is not too famous (like Lincoln) so they can't just automatically guess the ending. We have tried to get our hands on one of the games just to see how they are set up, but so far, haven't found one in our price range (although I may have to give up some bucks eventually). If you have hosted an event like this, please email me and tell me how you did it, and was it successful. Did you tie it with a particular class? How was it organized, etc. Thanks! Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell Mary B.
