Hi, I am organizing a lunch time fantasy book discussion club for 5th graders, and I am looking for a fantasy book that has wide appeal for both girls and boys. Most of my kids have exhausted Cornelia Funke and Jenny Nimmo. I was thinking Yep's "Dragon of the Lost Sea" but have read very mixed reader reviews. I'd like to go beyond the editorial reviews and get some real world feedback. If you've read Yep, what is your opinion? Any other titles stand out? If there's an interest, I'll post a HIT. Thanks!
