I was just asked to take over as Chair of my school's technology committee. Some background private, preK - 12 school with ~ 500 students total. We have 2 computer labs with 30 computers in each. Some old laptops and wireless hub that can be checked out to use in a class room. In K-8 classrooms they have computers for kids to use but these are not connected to the Internet. We have a few LCD projectors but really only 3-4 teachers use one on a regular basis. Administration is hot to update technology and make us more competetive. My question: any words of advice? Is there anyone else who is their school's technology chair? Any challenges you have faced?
