We have a 5th grade class reading this book and we have a parent who is upset because of language in it. It has been quite a while since I have read the book myself. Could someone suggest another book that we could substitute for this Newbery winner that would not have the profanity in BRIDGE. I'd appreciate answers off the list and, in advance, I thank you.Patrice Huckaby, library media specialistSouth Central Elementary School LIBRARY6595 E.
