Thought I would share this site that my social studies teacher used with his kids. It is no partisan. www.votehelp.org When you get to the site you will be asked a series of questions about various issues which you can answer in a range from strongly agree to strongly disagree. Then you will be asked to rate the issue on its importantce to you - again there is a range. When you have answered all the questions it will match your views to the candidates. You can then look at each candidate- what you answered and where he/she is on the issue and it even gives you quotes from the candidate on that particular issue. It is really a neat way to find out lot about the candidates. You can also have the information presented at a graph. Green boxes are complete matches on a issue and various shades of pink and red indicate other levels of agreement. Again when you mouse over the issue, you can see what the candidate had to say. Pretty nifty but I think I most matched people who are no longer running <grin> Darlene Yasick Media Specialist Hopkins (MI) High School lib027yas@global.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
