What about "The Book Jacket Award"? This is one that I am thinking of using. Our

Subject: GEN: read-a likes

I am looking for comparable reads to the two books below. I am a middle
school librarian and students/ library aides have asked for books similar to
the two titles. (The two requests are seperate and have nothing to do with
one another. Consider them like two different LM_Net posts.)

Any help would be appreciated.

Subject: camera repair responsibility?

We're working to implement a media element into our curriculum, and plan
to buy about 15 video cameras. We're wondering how others handle the
logistics of this. Do any of you have similar programs?

Obviously, students will need to check them out. Do you allow them to do
this directly? Through their teacher? How do you handle repairs for the
inevitable breakage? Are students responsible for any damage? Do you
have contracts?

Thanks for any info!
