I think this is the same old same old. Remember 16MM projector bulbs and exciter bulbs and teachers who could not thread the self threading machines, and VCRs that had a little toggle switch in the back that had to be on 3 or 4? I used to love those, because it made me look like a magician. Just flip the little toggle and suddenly, it worked! (Same with plugging it in). And then as now, there were kids who were way ahead of the teacher. Yes, I know! I am dating myself, but the one of you who mentioned technophobes was right on. It's just a different face on an old problem. In my last two schools, I have been lucky enough to have at least a part time AV aide, which helps a lot. Linda S.
