[LM_NET] Elem: Cataloging

Please share with me the reasons and importance of having a written
technical processing policy for cataloging materials.  Should the
policy
list specifics for different grade levels?  I am espcially interested
in
the Elementary Level.  Any sample policies would be most helpful.  As
a
student in an online cataloging class, I would appreciate information
and advice from experienced Library Media Specialists/ School
Catalogers.
