Hi LM_Netters,
PBS has been doing a nice job revitalizing their content for library media
teachers.  See:  <http://www.pbs.org/teachers/librarymedia/>
http://www.pbs.org/teachers/librarymedia/

The PBS Teachers Web site now includes resources on fair use and articles
from the print issues of Knowledge Quest, along with MARC Records for PBS
programs. Their roundups of PBS resources are great to handout or e-mail to
subject areas teachers.

The latest KQ article by Annette Lamb
<http://www.pbs.org/teachers/librarymedia/aasl/index.html>
http://www.pbs.org/teachers/librarymedia/aasl/index.html discusses using
social technology and social networks with kids Lamb argues that these
technologies are worth serious consideration precisely because they hold out
great promise for intellectual freedom: "Social technologies test the
boundaries of intellectual freedom precisely because they provide an open
forum for ideas."
