[LM_NET] Recommended or Required Reading?

Dear Colleagues,

A rather unusual request, but important nonetheless...

I'm preparing papers here at Illinois (I'm an 
assistant professor in a tenure track position) 
and will list my blog as a publication. As you 
may know, blogging is viewed as risky use of time 
by tenure committees.  Still, I will list it.

It is important that I provide a list of 
teachers, librarians, professors, parents, 
reviewers, publishers, writers, editors, that read my blog.

It will be especially helpful if I can list 
schools (library or education/teacher training) 
that have, do, or will list my blog on syllabi as 
recommended or required reading.

If you can write a brief note about using my 
blog, that'd be terrific. Goes without saying 
that I appreciate your response. They can come to 
me off-list at debreese@uiuc.edu.
