[LM_NET] ELEM---job description SPECIFIC to Virginia--TARGET

Elementary SLMS:

I am taking (soon 2 take) a class where writing a job description for 
elementary OR middle OR high school SLMS is the assignment.  I must choose 
one. Of course, being at the elementary level, I am going to choose 
elementary.  My question is     What are some 
requirements/responsibilities for our grade level that secondary 6-12 won't 
have?   
In short, what are some library  media center program functions and job 
description criteria that are specific to only   ELEMENTARY 
LIBRARY MEDIA SPECIALISTS.

I would welcome any ideas and thoughts as well as  internet sites 
you might have as I have to narrow the job description down.  I don't need generic 
job descriptions. Instead those criteria of a job description that are performed by 
elementary SLMS.
