Hello all!

We are having some controversy re: blocked websites, with much
discussion about what should and should not be blocked and who is
responsible for that decision making process. I am thinking of
offering the suggestion that we come up with a form that we could
submit to our principal. Who could then consult with anyone else he
wanted to before passing this on to the tech guy. Or maybe even a
committee. You see where I'm going with this? We don't want our nice
tech guy to be the only one making these decisions.

This form would have the effect of encouraging the teacher to do a
little website evaluation. So if, as a teacher, I had to request
permission and justify how this website supports the curriculum, I
might think twice before submitting this form and look a little harder
for something appropriate. and I might complain less if I felt there
was a proper channel to use. HOWEVER, I don't want the form to be so
much of a burden that those of us with legitimate needs won't bother.

Does anyone have such a form to share?
