When I was pregnant last year I had a baby naming contest for the kids. They had a
week to suggest names and then from that list I selected the "Top 10" and gave the
kids aweek to vote. I can't remember what the prize was or even the winning name.
I do remember that I made it clear that winning the contest did not guarantee that
I would give the baby that name. They loved it!

Subject: [LM_NET] TAR: Elem Baby display/contest

Greetings! We are a 4th and 5th grade school, and we have two teachers having
babies soon, one in each grade. I want to do a display of some kind, and maybe
even a contest to draw more kids in to the library. Here are my ideas so far:

For display, "It's raining babies at SIS!" with pictures of each teacher, some
baby items and of course resources that are "baby" related.
 or something like that...

I'm having trouble with the contest part. Maybe a drawing of some kind, or
estimate baby's weight in ounces...I don't know. That's where you can help. I'll
take any and all ideas!

By the way, one baby is a girl and one is a boy.

Thanks!
