I only got a couple responses about chairs that people felt were durable
and they had enjoyed. Thank you to those of you who responded. I
appreciate the help.

• Verco  they make a padded chair also.
• I have awesome library chairs!  They are from Sauder furniture.  They
are
called three position chairs.  I have had mine for five years and they
look brand new.  They are guaranteed for 10 years--even at middle
school!
The only problem is they are not stackable.  I would still highly
recommend them.  I even talked the teen librarian at the public library
into getting them.
Just my two cents.
• Here is the link to the chairs that I have in my library.  They stack
and
are very durable.

• My former principal replaced the chairs in our computer lab and media
center with ones manufactured by the Adirondack company. Here is a link
to the type of chairs we purchased

Original Query:

I'm in the process of searching for new library chairs.  Mine are old
and heavy wood that is starting to come apart at the joints.  I'm
looking for something that is stackable and also durable.  We have
4-6th
grades in our school and they are rough on our equipment.  If you have
chairs that you just love and that are standing up to wear and tear,
please let me know.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
