[LM_NET] GEN: Where to donate?

LM Netters,
 
We are having a small fundraiser in our primary school next week and we have 
decided we would like to donate raised funds to an organization that provides books 
to AT RISK students in the US.  In my research online, I've come up with 2....
 
First Book
ALA (on behalf of libraries destroyed by Katrina)
 
Have any of you had any interactions (positive or negative) with these 
organizations/charities? We are looking for 100% of our money to go towards books 
if possible.  Have we missed something better? Your input would be much appreciated!
