Question I've been reading this thread with interest. While I totally agree that many, many books are ready for the scrap heap, I've wondered about picture books, and even some novels. If picture books and novels are in good condition, even though they are old and no longer viable in my library, why wouldn't they be good donations to places that have no books? Most of them are "just stories" anyway, and could open up worlds to people that don't have any. I think for someone who has no book at all, some of these would be wonderful. Just a thought.Janet Perry, Prek-12 LibrarianCerro Gordo CUSD 100, Cerro Gordo, ILperrybros@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________ Helping your favorite cause is as easy as instant messaging.
