I apologize for being late in offering this but I thought itmight work for
some of you. This is the link to my favorite donation service when I am
shopping online. Although I use an animal shelter as the primary recipient
of my donations, there are many public schools listed, and it is very easy
to add your own. I have been using it for a year and a half. Each store
sets its own percentage, but they often have specials where they increase
the percentage for a week or so. They always let me know when the checks
are going out, and they are definitely more than once a year. I don't know
the exact schedule but I get notices at least 3 or 4 times a year.
