Michael (and all): royalty free music is not the same as public domain music.
Public domain music has either failed to qualify for copyright protection on
creation (very unlikely since the US signed Berne), ior its term of copyright
protection has lapsed for any of several reasons. The music you see at the website
below is indeed protected by copyright, but they charge no royalty for them -- sort
of a free sample to encourage you to later purchase the regular versions.
