I have a teacher that I work with who can't remember a title of a short story that she remembers reading in high school. We know that it is not "A Logic Named Joe." Here is the description that she e-mail me. "I read and was wondering if you would know the title when I describe it. It would be considered a science fiction short story dealing with people in the future (which is during the twenty-first century) where computers do almost everything for each person. They sit infront of a computer and they make things happen based on a person's thoughts. Then at the end the computers start to take over, because the people have become so weak and never do anything, but sit - they are not needed any more. Do you have any idea what story that would be? If you don't know it that is ok - I thought it would be like finding a needle in a haystack." Joanne Thanks for any ideas.
